Super 30: Hrithik Roshan film under Anurag Kashyap after Vikas Bahl's exit

The Roshans had distanced themselves from director Vikas Bahl after he was accused of sexual assault.

Anurag Kashyap has agreed to oversee the post-production work of Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30, which had gone into limbo after its director Vikas Bahl was accused of sexually assaulting a woman, HuffPost India has learnt.

Kashyap confirmed the news, saying, “At the moment I am getting Womaniya (another production) started, but yes, I will be overseeing the post-production of Super 30”.

The director, however, said that he won't take any credit for the work he will be doing in Super 30. Talking about working in the film, Anurag said, "There are at least 30 new people debuting with this film. It’s just out of responsibility for the money put in production."

Super 30 is based on the life of Anand Kumar, a Patna-based scholar, who trains 30 economically-backward students for IIT-JEE entrance exams every year.

The film is being produced by Reliance Entertainment and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It also stars Mrunal Thakur, Amit Sadh and Nandish Sandhu.

The film will now hit the screens on July 26, 2019.
